It was an amusing experience, as such things always are: A reporter contacted me this morning for an interview; she said something about canvassing important business leaders for an article on their predictions for the coming year. In other words, standard journalistic fol-de-rol for this time of year.

I immediately answered that the world would continue to be a place full of hidden dangers, simply because that is true of every year. I don’t think it was an answer she was hoping for, because there was a silence on the other end of the line for a while. But the truth is no more and no less complicated than that, and it will be every new year until the world experiences an apocalyptic change (at least in the sense that Christians understand the term).

That’s why Coerdian makes money year after year.
