MEMO TO ALL SECURITY DIVISION PERSONNEL

Now that the Hotelier Division’s plans for a diffuse-laser light “fireworks” show for the 4th of July have been nixed (thankfully), it looks like we’ll be having an old-fashioned fireworks display this weekend after all. As in past years, registered guests only will be invited to a viewing area on the rooftop. SecTeam personnel will be posted as sentries at all access points to the roof, and will be responsible for screening anyone who tries to get up there.

Two quick reminders:

The contractors staging the show are scheduled to arrive at 0600 on the morning of July 4. They will set up in the parking lot by the loading dock, so as soon as all of their gear is inside the perimeter, we will close off access to the back of the building from the street.

Also, from sunset to 0600 the following morning, L.A.R.Y. will be instructed to shut down all gunpowder residue sensors. Some of you have been around long enough to remember how in past years, fireworks set up and set off in close proximity to the building distributed enough residue so that our finely-tuned sensor network started going off left and right. We don’t want that happening again.
